The Response to Envy

"Masamang mainggit kapag umaangat ang iba." Envy can lead you to a sure path of self-destruction. It can also lead to  broken relationships and missed opportunities. Instead of reacting this way, why not try a different response that will benefit you?

One constructive response is to be creative. Think of many novel ways to reach your goals and aspirations. Convert the negative energy of envy into something productive and beneficial for you. Spend time creating, not comparing.

It also pays to be resourceful. You can also experience wins in life if you maximize what you have in your hands. You can partner with people who have the same vision and passion and serve a group of people. 

Instead of letting envy consume you, heed the advice found in Philippians 4:8 regarding what we should focus on:

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
